Tomorrow is the Fourth of July, a day to celebrate our nation’s independence. Wherever you are at in your weight loss surgery journey, I encourage you to celebrate freedom, as well — freedom from shame, remorse and the physical limitations of obesity. Whether you are pre-op or post-op, you have a goal in sight, and you are making progress toward a new and wonderful life.
If you’re heading outside this holiday weekend for a picnic, pool party, fishing trip, or to watch the fireworks, be sure to stay hydrated! The temperatures have been in the triple digits here in Dallas for the past week. So, drink plenty of water, and wear your sunscreen or incur the wrath of those UVA rays on Monday morning.
From all of us here at the Weight Loss Surgery Channel to all of you, HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!
Sincerely,
Craig Thompson
