Very imformative! I want to go to Dr. Dixon! I had bilateral masectomy with reconstruction in 2001. I had WLS August 27 of this year. I know I have a ways to go…but for the first time I have hope and as soon as it is possible I want this fat to go. It effects everything that I do.

I had a successful gastric bypass surgery in Aug. 2003 and have made sure that I followed the diet to ensure that I kept the weight off as well as try to take vitamins and supplements to stay healthy but I do have a severe problem with excess skin. I did try to obtain insurance approval for a body lift several years ago, however, I wonder if since I have severe psoriasis and it stays around my abdomen if that will help any. The dr. just had to do a surgery to repair a hernia where something in my intestines went into pouch and now I am wondering if plastic surgery could possibly be approved since I cannot seem to get rid of the psoriasis and it is very irritating not to mention I am very embarrassed by it. Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tammy Downs
